The music is coming together for this year’s Grateful Groove! Trim Hunger is excited to welcome a talented lineup to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on November 21, 2026
Now in its fifth year, Grateful Groove has become a holiday-season tradition for Trim Hunger. It brings the community together for an evening of great music and a meaningful cause. This year’s lineup includes two familiar favorites, some new faces and a few special musical moments throughout the evening.

Returning to the Grateful Groove stage
We’re happy to welcome back Janet Planet, a familiar and much-loved performer at Grateful Groove. A six-time Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) award winner and the second woman inducted into the WAMI Hall of Fame, Janet has more than 25 albums to her credit. Her career has taken her to jazz festivals and venues around the world, performing everywhere from New York City to Johannesburg. Known for her expressive voice and ability to bring emotion to every song, Janet always makes a lasting impression.

Also returning is PEGASIS, the Green Bay-based band known for its eclectic sound and creative approach to music. Since forming in 2018, the group has blended jazz, funk, R&B, pop, Latin and world music into a style all its own. With rich vocal harmonies, intricate guitar work, dynamic rhythms and bilingual lyrics, PEGASIS brings an energy and variety that keeps audiences listening.
New to this year’s lineup
Joining the Grateful Groove performers for the first time are Neenah-based musicians Mike Kubicki and Erin Boehme Kubicki. Mike may already be familiar to some guests. He played piano during last year’s VIP after-party and will be on stage this year alongside his wife, singer Erin.

Mike has been part of the Midwest jazz scene for decades, performing at clubs, festivals and events throughout the region. Influenced by jazz greats including Bud Powell, Oscar Peterson and Herbie Hancock, he has accompanied a wide range of singers and musicians.
Erin brings an impressive musical background of her own. She signed her first record deal with Concord Records at age 17 and has worked with acclaimed producers Phil Ramone and Michael Bublé. Today, she is the founder and president of the Oshkosh Jazz Festival. At Grateful Groove, she’ll combine her love of music with a passion for bringing musicians and audiences together.
A special VIP musical welcome
This year’s VIP pre-show reception will feature pianist Spencer Jones. A speaker, author and founder of Jonesin’ for®, Spencer is known for helping leaders navigate pressure and perform at their best. Guests will get to experience another side of his talents as he takes a seat at the piano to help set the mood before the show.
We’re looking forward to an evening filled with familiar favorites, new musical experiences and the sounds of the holiday season.

Join us Saturday, November 21, at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center for the fifth anniversary of Grateful Groove. It’s a night to enjoy great music, celebrate our community and support Trim Hunger’s work to fight food insecurity.
